I believe it is fair to say that not everyone wants to improve their golf game. They are content! That is certainly okay….however that is not what we are offering you!

We want you to better understand the game and be more educated on YOUR golf swing. You have enough competitive drive that you want to take your game to a new level or simply return to the golfer that “you used to be”. Maybe you are a newcomer to the game and just want to feel more comfortable being on the golf course or playing with your friends. 

The Teaching Academy at Wood Wind Golf Club is “the place” for golf instruction in Central Indiana.

·         Jon Hoover, Class A PGA Professional, Co-founder of the Teaching Academy at Wood Wind in 2009, was named Indiana PGA Teacher of the Year for 2011. Jon will compete for national PGA Teacher of the Year award and has trained with some of the top names in the golf industry.  He is co-author of the book and training system, “PAC-Golf (Parents as Coaches)”

·         Brad Fellers, Class A PGA Professional, joined our team last year and has become known as the premier short game expert in the area. Other golf professionals and top amateurs request his services to assist them to take their game to a new level through all aspects of the short game. In addition, Brad’s knowledge of the full swing is outstanding!  Brad’s playing resume includes the 2002 and 2004 Indiana PGA Championship and a three time winner of the Indiana State Assistants Championship

·         Mark Mathews, Master club fitter, comes with over 30 years of club making and repair experience and is skilled with top of the line fitting systems including Ping, Titleist, Mizuno and TaylorMade

·         SAM PuttLab - a comprehensive system to analyze putt strikes, fit and alignment

·         Complete V-1 video technology providing student and instructor comprehensive feedback  

·         AimPoint  putting system

·         A Full line of golf equipment for any level of play, with club fitting, club repair, shaft replacement and new grip installation

·         Full service practice facilities including bent grass teeing area, targets, yardages, short game area, sand area, and an  indoor heated stall. During the winter months from January thru the first week of April we also provide a full scope of services in our indoor golf pavilion

 

 

·         The Teaching Academy at Wood Wind Golf Club works in coordination with the Wood Wind Golf Club golf course which provides an excellent golf experience. Wood Wind Golf Club is managed and operated by Cohoat and O’Neal Management Corp. Wood Wind Golf Club has been host to many local, regional and national events

·         Scott Heger, Head Golf Professional and his staff bring exciting tournaments and events to you. Scott has a fully stocked golf shop with golf clubs, golf bags, apparel, golf balls, shoes and many more golf accessories. Superintendent, Josh Harvey has done a masterful job in presenting a championship golf course with excellent conditions and fabulous greens. If you enjoy smooth and fast greens…you will love our greens

·         A variety of junior camps, group clinics, club fitting opportunities/demo days, golf schools, corporate programs and individual lessons to meet all of your needs
