On behalf of the Teaching Academy and Wood Wind Golf Club we welcome you to our 2012 Junior Golf Program. The Teaching Academy in coordination with Wood Wind Golf Club and “Doc” O’Neal are committed to making our camp the premier junior golf camp in Indiana. For 2012 we will be offering 6 Golf Camps and a Junior Golf League.  We also offer more advanced Private and Small Group Instruction.  To view these programs, Click Here.

Junior Camp Details:
Wood Wind will once again host a variety of golf camps to meet your scheduling needs.  Over the summer you will be able to choose from 6 camps.  Four camps will be featuring kids ages 6 - 12 and two pee-wee camps ages 4-5 will be available.  The camps for the older kids will be 90 minutes in length and last four consecutive days.  The Pee Wee camps will be 60 minutes in length and also last 4 consecutive days. The cost of each camp will be $ 99.00 per participant. In both levels, players will be introduced to fundamental of full swing, chipping, putting and course etiquette.  We will make every attempt to break kids into like ability groups. Camps will have a maximum of 25 kids. 


Junior Golf League Details:
Wood Wind has a strong desire to make available an opportunity to get your junior golfers on the golf course and to interact with other junior players.  This is the first year for this summer program that offers golf course access every Wednesday from June 6th - August 1st (excluding July 4th) for kids ages 9 - 14. Play will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and last til 5:00 p.m. The cost of the program will be $225 per participant.  The cost includes 8 weeks of play and will also include 2 - 90 minute instructional clinics.   Each week, staff will coordinate an event, group players, and track scores.  Kids will play 6 or 9 holes depending on age and ability.  We strongly encourage players with prior golf experience to consider the golf league.  Players must have their own golf clubs and have played on the golf course in the past, keeping score and truly playing the game.  This is not the place to sign up your child who has not played before. Please sign up for one of the junior camps if your golfer does not meet these requirements.

June 4th thru June 7th - Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.

Camp # 2 - Age 6 thru 12 - CAMP IS FULL
June 4th thru June 7th - Monday thru Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Camp # 3 - Age 6 thru 12
June 18th thru June 21st - Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.

Camp # 4 (Pee Wee) - Age 4 & 5
June 18th thru June 21st - Monday thru Thursday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Camp # 5 - Age 6 thru 12
July 16th thru July 19th – Monday thru Thursday – 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.

Camp # 6 (Pee Wee) - Age 4 & 5  
July 16th thru July 19th  – Monday thru Thursday – 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Junior Golf League - Age 9 thru 14
Wednesday June 6th - August 8th (no play July 4th) 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
We also have a Pre-JDP Prep Program Noon - 2 p.m. on the same dates.  
We are scheduled to have clinic 1 on June 6th, and clinic 2 on July 11th.  Kids will play on Mon. July 9th in lieu of Wed. that week.
